In august 2019, Medical News Today reported “Diabetes overtreatment seriously endangers health”, a study from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The article stated that more and more people treated for type 2 are having a serious, potentially life threatening complication called hypoglycemia when using blood sugar lowering medications, such as insulin.
