In the mid 1980’s, millions of people were dying from heart disease. In response, The National Institutes of Health recommended eating less fat and cholesterol to reduce the risk of heart disease. You may remember what happened next. In response, the food industry began promulgating the virtues of “healthy” carbohydrates over fat. Do not be fooled into consuming “healthy” carbohydrates.
